For air conditioning I opted to go with residential ductless mini-splits. They are 12,000 BTU 15 seer units, with booth heat and cool with Toshiba compressors. I did this for a number of reasons. They don’t sit on the roof, so there is less drag and hopefully better fuel mileage. I think the RV roof airs are ugly. They are more efficient, I can run both on a hot day on a 30 amp circuit. They are extremely quiet, with the radio on you can’t really tell they are running it’s just cool inside. There is one in the front and one in the rear.
